Appearance References

• 4* Art is inspired by her black traveler clothes that she wears for majority of the manga. Her 4* evolved art's skirt slightly resembles Yggdra's from the game Yggdra Union, another character whose appearance was designed by Kiyuduki Satoko.

• 5* Base Art: Features 2 cats with different colored ribbons: red and blue. This is a reference to her traveling companions Nijuku and Sanju respectively with the hood she wears also being a reference to the hoods worn by those two. The moon is also repeatedly featured in the manga with the crescent moon being the most commonly seen.
  The patchwork clothes is a reference to Hifumi's body being a visible patchwork.
• 5* Evolved Art:
  Kuro's black spots underneath her bandages from the curse Hifumi gave her are shown.

3. The blood moon when Sen was first shown to revert back to his human form. (Volume 3)
4. The line she says is the line she said to a student who misuses the power she got from Hifumi. (Volume 6)
5. The vines Kuro made in an attempt to absorb Hifumi. (Volume 7)
6. The black ink that drips at the end is also a part of how the curse looks like at the end as seen by the previously mentioned student (Volume 6).
